Award Amount: (1) $500, (2) $250. Number of Awards:Three. [General Scholarship Description] The UO Greek community was established over 100 years ago. The core values of our community are leadership, service and academic excellence. The Greek community has established scholarships that are awarded to incoming freshmen each academic year in recognition of students who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence throughout their high school careers. We believe these attributes are essential for new students to excel at the UO and to lead successful, meaningful lives after graduation. These awards also mirror the academic success that the Greek community has been achieving for over 100 years. Applying for or receiving a Greek Scholarship does not obligate the applicant to join a fraternity or sorority. General Scholarship Criteria This scholarship is available to: High School Senior / Incoming Freshman GPA requirement: 3.0 Minimum requirements are as follows: 1) Incoming high school women; 2) 3.0 GPA; 3) Out-of-State student; 4) Demonstrated leadership, service and scholarship. OUT-OF-STATE FRESHMEN WOMAN ONLY. U.S. RESIDENTS FROM ANY STATE OTHER THAN OREGON MAY APPLY.
