Program/Area: Non-PSU Scholarship Specialty: Non-PSU General Available To Level: High School, Undergraduate Available To Citizenship: US Citizen, Permanent Resident Number of Awards: 100 Amount: Up to $5,000 Renewable: No Scholarship Year: 0910 Available: Deadline: March 1 Criteria: Must be: African American, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian; U.S. Citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.; full-time student at an accredited college, university, or community college; high academic achiever in chemistry or science(GPA 3.0 or higher); able to demonstrate evidence of financial need according to FAFSA form; high school senior, college freshman, sophomore or junior intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science and planning career in the chemical sciences or chemical technology. (students planning careers in medicine or pharmacy are not eligible for this program). To apply students must complete an application form, provide the financial need document referred to as an SAR(student aid report), submit transcripts and required letters of recommendations.
