Robert W. and Betty F. Root Scholarship

Scholarship Description
* Must be an Oregon state resident, with preference given to students from Jackson and Josephine counties. * Must be a full time undergraduate enrolled at Southern Oregon University throughout the period of the scholarship. * Must have at least a 3.5 GPA and an SAT score of 1100 or better. * Must show financial need by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and must be ineligible for grant aid. * Must maintain financial need and a 3.0 GPA for the scholarship to be automatically renewable. * Selection is made by the Financial Aid Scholarship Selection Committee. * Preference for incoming freshman. * Automatically renewable as long as the criteria are met.
