Rose Marie Beard Woman of Spirit® Honors Scholarships
- Scholarship Description
- These $4,000 scholarships will be awarded each year to outstanding women who demonstrate high academic achievement and leadership, and whose personal and professional lives reflect the strong work ethic, indomitable spirit and compassionate leadership of Rose Marie Beard. Selection criteria include a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.6 or higher, a minimum SAT of 1100 (math and verbal scores only), and intended full-time enrollment as a freshman in the Day program. This is a non-renewable scholarship. In their junior year, however, Beard Scholars will have the opportunity to apply for a cash stipend to fund their participation in an approved Study Abroad Program for credit, or to underwrite the student’s Honors research project under the guidance of a faculty advisor.
