Air Force ROTC Scholarships

Scholarship Description
Two-, three- and three-and-a-half year scholarships are available to qualified undergraduate and graduate Carnegie Mellon students who join the Air Force ROTC program. Scholarships range from $15,000/year toward tuition, plus $600 for books/year and a monthly tax-free allowance that ranges from $250-400/month depending on your year in school. Students are required to attend AFROTC courses at the University of Pittsburgh, which are described in Carnegie Mellon' course catalog under Aerospace Studies. Completion of the AFROTC program leads to a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and a starting salary of approximately $40K/year.
