Carnegie Mellon recognizes outstanding academic performance by awarding Carnegie Mellon University Scholarships. A Carnegie Mellon University Scholarship is worth at least half the cost of undergraduate tuition for four years, to students who enroll in business, computer science, engineering, the fine arts, the liberal arts, information systems and the sciences. This scholarship is granted without regard to your family's financial need. Winners are selected from a group of finalists who meet the criteria listed below and will be notified in their letters of admission. To be considered for a Carnegie Mellon University Scholarship, you must: Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Apply for freshman admission by the appropriate deadline Enhance your school or community through personal involvement Demonstrate a strong sense of personal integrity Not be a son/daughter of a Carnegie Mellon employee who is eligible for tuition remission.
