Judith Resnik — Challenger Scholarships
- Scholarship Description
- To recognize the pioneering spirit and outstanding academic and personal achievement of students committed to study in computer science, engineering or science. Carnegie Mellon offers the Judith Resnik — Challenger Scholarships, which will cover half the cost of undergraduate tuition for four years. These awards are presented without regard to a family's financial need and are renewable for four years of undergraduate education at Carnegie Mellon, provided students maintain outstanding academic records. Winners will be notified in their letters of admission. To be considered for the scholarship, you must: Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Exhibit excellence in academic achievement Receive exemplary recommendations from teachers and counselors Enhance your school or community through personal involvement Demonstrate a strong sense of personal integrity Apply for undergraduate study to Carnegie Institute of Technology, Information Systems, Mellon College of Science or the School of Computer Science Not be a son/daughter of a Carnegie Mellon employee who is eligible for tuition remission.
