Presidential Scholarships

Scholarship Description
Presidential Scholarships are awarded to artistically and academically talented middle-income students who qualify for little or no need-based financial aid. Unlike our other academic scholarships, you must apply for need-based financial aid to be considered. (This verifies that you are not eligible for significant financial assistance.) You must submit the FAFSA in order to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship. If you are awarded the Presidential Scholarship, you must submit all of the required Carnegie Mellon and Federal Student Aid forms and tax documents before the scholarship will be credited toward the student's account. Winners will be identified in their notification of financial aid.
