Clarion County Rod & Gun Club Endowment

Scholarship Description
This scholarship was established in 2003 by the members of the Clarion County Rod & Gun Club. The organization promotes academic values, and foremost, the study of our native wildlife and habitat and its management. The endowment is in the honor of Lewis Knight, Sr., a founding member and leader, and is a way the club can help young men and women who share our members’ interest in the natural heritage of Northwestern Pennsylvania . To be considered, the student must be an incoming freshman at Clarion University with a SAT of 1000 or above, and show financial need via the FAFSA. First priority shall be given to a child of a member in good standing of the Clarion County Rod & Gun Club. The preference of the club is to award the scholarship to someone majoring in the Environmental Sciences and/or demonstrates interest in natural heritage of Northwestern Pennsylvania through extracurricular activities.
