ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students. Recipient shall be an entering freshmen or transfer student with academic promise who has overcome significant personal, family, economic, or relevant other obstacles in pursuing academic achievement. Applicants must be graduates of an Oklahoma public or private high school. Applicants must have a high school GPA of 3.00 or higher. Applicants must submit a written statement in support of their eligibility for the award. Among applicants of fundamentally equal eligibility, preference will be given to applicants from graduating classes of 100 or fewer students. Selection is by special committee. Students enrolled only one semester during the academic year of the award will receive one-half the value of this award.
RENEWABLE: Renewal of this scholarship for a second year of award requires successful completion of at least 24 credit hours at OSU with (1) a cumulative graduation-retention GPA of 2.50 or higher or (2) a GPA of 2.50 or higher for the most recently completed semester.
