Trustees' Scholarship for Excellence

Scholarship Description
Six (6) full-tuition scholarships are awarded each academic year to entering freshmen who have already demonstrated truly exceptional scholarship, leadership, and Christian character. Recipients of Trustees' Scholarships are selected by a committee from a pool of freshmen applicants who submit a complete application for admission before January 15. To be eligible for a Trustees' Scholarship a student must rank in the top 10 percent of their high school class and achieve a total SAT score of 1300 or better or an ACT score of 29 or better. Selected applicants may be invited to visit campus to be part of an interview process on a day established by the College in January or February. Recipients of Trustees' Scholarships are eligible for participation in the College Honors Program. Trustees' Scholarships are renewable to the recipient for all four years at Messiah College provided the student maintains a 3.6 grade point average each academic year and a continuing leadership role on campus. This scholarship may not be combined with any other Messiah College Merit Scholarship with the exception of the National Merit Scholarship.
