- Scholarship Description
- 1. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by the chair of the Department of Community and Regional Planning on the basis of academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and interest in the field of planning. 2. The scholarship is awarded each year to a new freshman or transfer student majoring in Community and Regional Planning. Interested applicants must submit a one-page essay describing the importance of planning in their community. 3.Amount: Renewable $1,000 scholarship. Students may receive the scholarship for up to four years provided they maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and remain enrolled in the Community and Regional Planning bachelor's degree program.
