- Scholarship Description
- If you have a strong science background and an interest in space-related science, engineering, research, and technolgy and enjoy sharing your enthusiasm with K-12 students, teachers, and the general public, this program is for you! We are also actively recruiting Spanish speaking students with a strong science background for our Science en Español Program. We ask these award recipients to go into ESL (English as a Second Language) classrooms to support science teaching in the state. By exploring science through a primary language, we hope to break down barriers due to ethnic background and to establish role models for young students. This program supports teaching at both the elementary and middle school levels.
