Converse College is one of only two women's colleges in the nation competing at the NCAA Division II level. Converse competes in Conference Carolinas, which was formerly known as the Carolina-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC).
As an NCAA Division II institution, Converse offers academic-based, need-based and athletic-based scholarships to qualified student-athletes.

- Scholarship Description
- Qualifications: Based on a review of the students' high school record, extra curricular activities, and TOEFL scores, merit-based scholarships will be awarded. Scholarship Range: $9,000 to $18,000. Nomination Criteria: Limited scholarship aid is available for international students. Those interested in international scholarships must submit a Declaration of Finance along with an application.
