Grand Strand Salt Water Anglers Association Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- (New or continuing students) To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria: 1. Must be admitted and enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at Coastal Carolina University; 2. Must be a Marine Science major; 3. Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative high school or collegiate GPA.; and 4. Preference will be given to residents of Horry County. The scholarship award amount varies and may be up to $1,000. The award is for one year and may be renewed as long as the recipient maintains a cumulative CCU GPA of 3.0, although renewal is neither automatic nor guaranteed. A recipient must reapply for consideration. Applications will be reviewed by the chair and faculty of the Department of Marine Science who will recommend the successful recipient to the University Scholarship Committee.
