Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority Scholarship Trust

Scholarship Description
(New or continuing students) The purpose of the trust is to encourage and assist children of current full-time, regular Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority (GSWSA) employees in pursuit of a degree at Coastal Carolina University as fulltime students by providing financial assistance, recognition or reward. Awards will be made on an annual basis and are renewable. A committee from GSWSA will select the recipient(s). Applicants may be enrolled in any curriculum related to the activities of the GSWSA. Freshmen applicants must have earned a minimum 2.75 GPA in high school and advanced applicants must have earned a minimum collegiate GPA of 2.75. Selection of the recipient(s) will be made on the basis of individual motivation toward higher education and the student’s potential for academic achievement as well as character and financial need.
