George W. Kelly Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship Description
This scholarship is for entering freshmen with high school GPA of 3.5, or transfer students with GPA of 3.0 who wish to enroll in the journalism program. Students with a 3.0 GPA already enrolled in the journalism program at ETSU may be eligible, depending on the availability of funds. Award criteria requirements: Demonstrated work and interest in journalism and potential for a career in journalism. Special consideration given to outstanding minority applicants. Other documented financial aid received by applicant may be considered, but will not be the main determining factor for the award.
