Qualification Criteria
The Scholarship is awarded based on the following:
Major in Department: Crop & Soil Science
Renewable: This Scholarship is Renewable
Students who have successfully completed their first year of graduate study majoring in Crop and Soil Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at MSU.
Students who have demonstrated financial need as determined by the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Consideration shall be given to students who are residents of the United States.
Preference shall be given to students, who, after the completion of their studies, intend to teach and/or conduct research at an institution of higher education.
Consideration shall be given to recipient(s) who/whom have a strong interest in teaching and/or research activities that will have a positive impact on people in developing countries.
As part of the formal application process for this Fellowship, students shall submit to the selection committee a two-page letter stating why they are uniquely qualified to receive the Fellowship.
