College of Business Wall of Excellence Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- Scholarships are awarded to those College of Business students who best represent the College of Business mission, vision and core values. College of Business students may receive a Wall of Excellence Scholarship based on meeting the required qualifications: Qualifications, Academic Excellence, Enrollment Status, Citizenship, and Leadership. The minimum GPA requirement for a Wall of Excellence Scholarship is 3.0. However, many of the students who apply have a higher GPA. If your GPA falls below the minimum required for eligibility (3.0) prior to the time your award is posted, the scholarship will be rescinded. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled at Tennessee State University on a full-time basis. Scholarship recipients should have participated in or will participate in community activities. Some community activities include, but are not limited to, tutoring underprivileged children, collecting food for the hungry, and other types of volunteer work. Being a part of one of the business and professional groups shows leadership ability. Taking on the responsibility of chairing a committee, leading a project or holding an office sharpens leadership skills. Major corporations take notice to those who have demonstrated leadership qualities and capabilities.
