To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be admitted and enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at Coastal Carolina University;
2. New and continuing students must have a minimum high school or collegiate cumulative GPA of 2.75;
3. Must demonstrate financial need as defined by the Office of Financial Aid; and
4. Preference will be given to applicants from the Waccamaw Neck area of Georgetown County, South Carolina.
The scholarship award amount varies. The scholarship is for one year and may be renewed as long as the recipient maintains a minimum cumulative CCU GPA of 2.75 and earns at least 30 credit hours
annually. Renewal is neither automatic nor guaranteed; a recipient must reapply for consideration.
