- The awardee is selected on the basis of need, scholarly performance, and critical manpower areas. The recipient must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 (B-average). Entering Freshmen must have a composite ACT score of 21 or more. All currently enrolled students and accepted Freshmen are eligible.
