Recipients must be persons of high moral character and considered good citizens by their high school and university administrators. University scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis with considerble emphasis placed on extracurricular activities and outstanding academic achievement based on the following criteria: a) Class ranking and GPA, b) SAT test scores, c) High school transcripts and d) Academic awards and honors.
