Fifth-Year Accounting Student Scholarship Program

Scholarship Description
A student who has completed at least 120 semester credit hours with at least 15 hours of accounting courses or their quarter hour equivalent and signs a written statement confirming student's intent to take the uniform Certified Public Accountant examination may qualify for this scholarship. Awards range from $750 to $3,000 or the student's financial need, whichever is less, may be awarded to qualified students. Maximum lifetime award is $3,000. Undergraduates and Graduates may apply and applications are available in our office. Selection of recipients will be based on: a. Financial need b. Ethnic or racial minority c. Scholastic ability measured by grade point average d. Texas residency.
