P.O. Dominguez Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The P.O. Dominguez Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a deserving full-time student majoring in any field of college study. Scholarship amount varies according to available funds. In order to be eligible, freshman applicants must have graduated in the upper 50 percent of their high school class. Sophomore applicants must have maintained a 2.50 grade point average in their college studies. Recipients must remain enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours and maintain a minimum 2.50 grade point average while receiving the award. The scholarship was established by the children of P.O. Dominguez, all of whom are former SPC students. Mr. Dominguez was an employee of South Plains College for 20 years.
