- Scholarship Description
- Awards are mainly to incoming freshman music majors. Awards given in 4 areas: band/instrumental, choir/vocal, keyboard, and string. Requires an audition on campus before faculty committees in each area. To retain scholarship, students must not be on probation, must maintain a minimum of 2.6 GPA in music classes, must receive a grade of "C" or higher in all music theory courses (MTC designations) and in Class Piano (MUP 101, 102, 201, 202), fulfill any special requirements outlined on the scholarship contract, and receive the continuing recommendation of the scholarship committee in the area
