- Award: Five awards of $1,000 a year ($500 per semester) Must be a Texas resident Must enroll full time (minimum 12 hours) at UTSA Incoming first-time freshmen must be in the top 50 percent of high school class and have a minimum SAT score of 950 or a minimum ACT score of 20 Applicants with 60 or more semester credit hours will have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA Application requirement: General Scholarship application.
