- Scholarship Requirements: * Minimum Cumulative GPA > 2.5 * Major: Any * Abide by the Honor Code of the University * Enrolled at BYU-Hawaii for 12 credit hours per semester (6 credits per term) * New Freshman * Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints * Resident of Laie * Demonstration of financial need * Attach a completed Financial Need Worksheet (included with application form), and attach required documents, W-2's, etc. * If eligible, complete the FAFSA and attach a copy of the Student Aid Report you receive from the Department of Education. * Submit a completed private scholarship application form to the Scholarship Office by the deadline. * Attach a typed, one-page essay to your application * Note: Children of BYU-Hawaii faculty are not eligible for this scholarship.
