Westminster College Award for Exemplary Achievement

Scholarship Description
Ten awards of $20,000 per year will be awarded to students who intend to attend Westminster College as members of the Fall entering class. Both freshman and transfer students are eligible to apply. In rewarding exceptional achievement, the College seeks to honor students who will enrich our community of learners as they embody the high value we place on excellence. Special consideration will be given to applicants who have overcome hardships, a disability, a difficult personal situation, or faced other disadvantages. The Exemplary Achievement Award recognizes students who have achieved excellence in any activity or endeavor of significance. For example: * Community Service * Civic Participation * The Fine Arts * Leadership * Service to Others * Volunteerism * The Performing Arts * Entrepreneurship * Writing * Athletics * The Sciences * Journalism. Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum B average. The Scholarship Committee will select the ten recipients by evaluating the level of achievement, depth of involvement, and quality of contribution among the applicants.
