Emory & Henry College awards merit-based academic scholarships based on GPA, SAT/ACT scores and leadership activity from the prospective student’s application for admission. Scholarships range from $7,500 to $11,000 for the Academic Merit Scholarship to $13,000 for the prestigious Patrick Henry Scholarship or John Emory Scholarship.
There is also an opportunity for service-oriented students with demonstrated financial need to apply for the Bonner Scholars Program. Emory & Henry College will also be offering a grant for out of state students.
Please note that all Emory & Henry College awards are for tuition only, are based on full-time enrollment by students each semester and will be divided equally between fall and spring semesters. If a student is enrolled only for one semester in an academic year, they will receive half of their annual award for that semester. If a student is not full-time at the end of add/drop period each semester, aid will be reduced or removed depending on level of enrollment.
Financial aid will not be changed until the end of add/drop period to allow a student ample time to correct their enrollment. Students planning to be enrolled only part-time should notify the CSA Office in writing of their plans so that their aid can be adjusted ahead of enrollment so that their billing statements will reflect accurate aid. No institutional aid is available for summer term study.
