Wells Fargo Scholarship for Students of Color

Scholarship Description
Students interested in applying for the Wells Fargo Scholarship for Students of Color must be a student of color who is enrolled in or plans to enroll in Bellevue College and is able to demonstrate financial need. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for application (a GPA of 2.0 for high school students is required for entering students). In addition to the Foundation Scholarship Application, a letter of recommendation from an instructor, a high school or college counselor, or community member affiliated with a recognized social service agency is required. Applicants must also submit an official transcript and a personal statement of not more than 300 words addressing their personal, professional and educational goals. One $3000 scholarship is available this Fall as part of the four scholarship awarded annually. Scholarship awards may be applied toward the cost of tuition, fees, and books. Students who are awarded these scholarships will be eligible to work for Wells Fargo as a paid intern for the year in which they receive the award.
