Brad Burns Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- Amount: $1,100 Deadline: February 1, 2008 This scholarship honors the passionately and creatively lived life of Brad Burns who loved deeply and made people laugh. Offered to a new or currently enrolled student attending at least half time who shows a passion and talent for the arts (visual arts, writing, cartooning, performance arts, storytelling, etc.). Preference will be given but not limited to a student with demonstrated financial need. Requirements Letter of application, not to exceed two pages, describing your interests, qualifications and your vision for using your talents to contribute to society. A copy of a creative expression of yourself and/or your vision – painting, drawing, cartoon, writing, photograph or other artistic medium. Two letters of recommendation written within the past year from individuals other than relatives that address your character, talent and potential. FAFSA or Renewal Application.
