Modern Language Scholarships (Chinese, French, German and Japanese)

Scholarship Description
Up to six scholarships are awarded to students majoring in Chinese (one scholarship), French (two scholarships), German (two scholarships), or Japanese (one scholarship). (A double major in another subject area is acceptable and can be completed in four years). Each scholarship covers $20,000 per year renewable for four years, and incorporates all Carthage assistance. Those invited to compete must have at least three years of high school Chinese, French, German or Japanese. Candidates must apply to Carthage and return the completed Modern Language Scholarships application and teacher recommendation.
