- Ignatius Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, and all freshman and transfer applicants are considered. Historically, freshmen applicants who have excelled in the classroom and have performed well on standardized examinations have received scholarship awards from Marquette. Transfer applicants are reviewed based upon a combination of college and high school performance as well as leadership and service activities.
