Alice Hagar Elementary Education Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Alice Hagar was a librarian of the Training School Library on the Campus of La Crosse State Teachers College in La Crosse. When the Campus School closed in 1974, she moved into the Currciulum and Instruction Center of Morris Hall as a librarian until her retirement in 1982 Criteria: 1. freshman, sophomore, junior or senior to be enrolled full time with a major in elementary education. 2. at least a 3.2 gpa. 3. financial need should be considered only as a tie breaker. 4. at least two awards shall be made. 5. renewable up to a total of four years if recipient meets the criteria and no recipient may receive the scholarship for more than a total of four years.
