Helen Shure Nursing Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- This scholarship was established to honor a truly caring, compassionate woman who was a nurse. Criteria: 1. Preference will be given to clinical major Sophomore II students who are single mothers. Other single mothers enrolled in the major are encouraged to apply. 2. Enrolled in full-time or part-time study 3. Financial Need 4. Involvement in community activities and extra curricular activities (excluding athletic participation) during the past two years. Selection: 1. Applications are the College of Nursing-General Scholarship Form. 2. Recipients will be selected by representatives from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing Conditions: 1. If any criteria are not fulfilled, or if the student withdraws from the program, the award will be withdrawn. Award: 1. The award will be held at the Cashier’s Office for payment against tuition for the first semester of the recipient’s junior year.
