Scholarship Description
Available to: High school seniors planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry or chemical engineering at UW. Provided by: Wyoming Section, American Chemical Society. Number of awards: One. Value: Up to resident tuition and mandatory fees for the freshman year. Selected by: Awards Committee, Wyoming Section, American Chemical Society. Other instructions: Applicants should have letters of recommendation from teachers in mathematics, chemistry and English sent to the chairman of the awards committee, American Chemical Society, Department of Chemistry, University of Wyoming, Dept. 3838, 1000 E. University Avenue, Laramie, WY 82071. Applicants should send transcript showing fall grades, SAT and ACT scores. They should also include a letter or statement describing the applicant’s planned college major and career goals. Application deadline is Feb. 3.
