Alfred DeVito Scholar Program

Scholarship Description
$1000 AWARD* DESCRIPTION This program recognizes first-year students who have outstanding high school academic records and show promise as future educators. Scholars participate in a seminar course for which they receive one credit each semester. The course is structured to enhance the scholars? college education and prepare them to be successful educators. Each scholar will be provided the opportunity to work individually with a faculty member and may engage in research, data analysis, planning and coordinating activities, and a range of other efforts. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - High school seniors - SAT score of at least 1230 , excluding the writing score, or ACT composite score of at least 28, excluding the writing score, or valedictorian or salutatorian or National Merit Scholar finalist
