- Scott Palomino is the son of University of Phoenix employee who regrettably suffered a severe injury while serving in the United States armed forces. In Scott's honor, the University of Phoenix, El Paso campus will award one full tuition scholarship each year to a veteran or current member of the United States armed forces who has also suffered a critical injury while in service and is dedicated to achieving a higher education degree through the University of Phoenix El Paso Campus or the online programs of study. The Scott Palomino Scholarship is directed toward new University of Phoenix El Paso students and will cover tuition and fees for an entire Undergraduate or Graduate program (Doctoral programs are not applicable).
