Description: Fellows are placed in offices throughout the executive branch of the California State Government. Placement lasts 11 months and can count for 12 credits of graduate study. Placements provide mentors to fellows and meet the interests and needs of the host agencies. Participants gain firsthand experience in many aspects of governmental operations, including policy development and implementation, executive-legislative relations, budget preparation and coordination among the various executive-branch agencies.
