Scholarship Overview

These scholarships are for male and female undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be US citizens or legal US residents. Students who have already obtained a bachelor's degree are not eligible. To apply for these scholarships, applicants must write an essay on a given topic about an issue affecting women in business today. Topics relate to women in STEM, creating shared value, parenting and career, women's representation on boards, corporate ethics, and innovation. In addition to the prize money, all 10 winners will be invited on an expense-paid trip to be recognized at the Womenetics Global Women's Initiative Conference in Atlanta or Chicago this fall. Applicants are invited to enter both the U.S. Bank and Discover prizes; however, if selected for one prize, the student is automatically ineligible for the other.
