This scholarship is for seniors who are graduating from a high school in the United States in the winter of 2013 or the spring of 2014. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship at school, at the workplace, and in the community. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance with a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be US citizens. Applicants must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor's degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2014-2015 academic year. Applicants must be nominated by an eligible community leader, preferably a high school principal, elected official, or an executive director of a nonprofit organization.
