Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for graduates and residents of an AVMA-accredited school/college of veterinary medicine. To qualify, applicants must be current AAEP members and their major advisor must also be an AAEP member. This scholarship is awarded based on potential for proposed research to contribute to equine veterinary medicine, sincere intent for long-term career in equine veterinary research, experience within the horse industry, experience and activity in equine veterinary medicine, experience with equine research, academic performance, and professional accomplishments before and after graduation.
