Scholarship Overview
This fellowship is for women who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, have achieved high standards of academic excellence, and show promise of distinction in their respective fields. To qualify, applicants must be full-time students at an accredited US institution during the fellowship year and should be pursuing a course of study in the United States over the full academic year. Applicants must be from ethnic minority groups historically underrepresented in these designated fields within the United States: Black/African Americans, Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics, Native Americans/Alaska Natives, or Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders. The designated fields eligible for funding are Business Administration (M.B.A.) - applicants may apply for second year of study only; Law (J.D.) - applicants may apply for third year of study only; or Medicine (M.D., D.O.) - applicants may apply for third or fourth year of study only.
