Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for women who are high school seniors residing in Dutchess County, New York. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be pursuing an education at an accredited Mid-Hudson Valley college, university, or trade school or through an accredited online educational program in the fall. Mid-Hudson is defined as Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, and Ulster counties. Applicants will be judged on academic performance and goals, community involvement, and financial need. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay (not to exceed 500 words) discussing how a specific woman (other than a relative) has influenced their life.
