Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for students who live in the foundation's 20-town service area, which includes the following towns in Connecticut: Barkhamsted, Bethlehem, Colebrook, Cornwall, Falls Village (Canaan), Goshen, Hartland, Harwinton, Kent, Litchfield, Morris, New Hartford, Norfolk, North Canaan, Salisbury, Sharon, Torrington, Warren, Washington, and Winsted/Winchester. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be pursuing a two- or four-year degree in electrical engineering or electronics. Selection for this scholarship is based on financial need, academic excellence, extracurricular accomplishments, good character/citizenship, and essay score. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents who have lived in the Foundation's service area for at least 12 months.
