Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for persons of color who are enrolled in teacher-preparation programs at a college/university in Connecticut. Those eligible include African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans. One scholarship is awarded to a student who has been admitted to a traditional teacher-preparation program at a college or university in Connecticut. A second scholarship is awarded to a student in the Alternate Route to Certification (ARC) program sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.
