Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students who are Alaska Natives and are pursuing a career related to the Trans Alaska Pipeline System or the oil industry. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be Alaska Native shareholders or descendants (may be adopted) of the Koniag Region, which includes Kodiak Island and the Kodiak Archipelago. Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA and be studying one of the following: engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, or chemical/process; health; safety; quality; inspection professionals; security; planner/scheduler/project controls; project manager; information technology; business planning; or technical positions (instrument, SCADA, process technology, communications). Lastly, candidates must be enrolled in or join the Koniag, Inc. descendent or shareholder database.
