Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors from high schools in Stark County, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be pursuing a four-year bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university in music (i.e., music education, church music, performance, etc.) with the major instrument being the organ. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be related to the American Guild of Organists, Canton Chapter (i.e., member, student member of a related guild group, student of a member, etc.). Applicants also must show evidence of competent technique and musicianship through letters of reference and a submitted tape and/or audition including one Bach work or movement, one French work or movement, and a third work of applicant’s choice.
