This scholarship is for natural or adopted descendants of members of the American Legion, Department of New Jersey (son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, etc.). Applicants' forebearer must be a current member of the American Legion, Department of New Jersey, or if deceased, a member at the time of their death. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors.
