This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors at public high schools in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must intend to follow college curricula leading to careers in the education and preparation of people with special needs, such as those with Down Syndrome. Selection will be based on academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, and evidence of a strong interest in the field of special education as a career.
